- 12. Bob Worsley's Anti-Parent Votes
You will find this statement on Legislative District 25 incumbent Senator Bob Worsley’s website: “Family has defined my life..” How nice…..for him and his family. But he has no respect for your family, or your fundamental liberty as a parent to “direct the upbringing, education, health care, and mental health of your children.” This God-given right is honored and upheld in the Arizona Constitution. See Arizona Revised Statutes 1-601 and 1-602 explicitly protect parental rights.
Please consider Official Write-In Candidate Itasca Small, NOT Bob Worsley.
Nobody--and no entity--has the right to insert themselves between you as a responsible, caring, and protective parent and your own child. Nobody!
They have voted against every attempt by true conservative legislators to return our K-12 educational system to Arizona, local school districts, and parents.
Worsley and his RINO gang have repeatedly voted against parental opt-out rights. They have repeatedly voted to retain the nationalized Common Core system, including its aligned curriculum, and whatever assessments (PARCC, AZMERIT) are aligned with them. (If you haven't educated yourself about the unvalidated, federal/corporate take-over of our local K-12 schools, I suggest you begin by spending 40 minutes watching BUILDING THE MACHINE - The Common Core Documentary. You will know more about CC than 90% of elected officials at both the state and federal levels. Also read The National Common Core Standards System. Also see articles listed below.)
Bob Worsley's voting record proves beyond a shadow of doubt that he is very comfortable with Big Government, Big Corporate, and Special Interest control over the education that every Arizona child receives beginning in Kindergarten through Grade 12.
He has helped defeat excellent bills that would have allowed Arizona, local school boards, and parents determine what's best for Arizona's students. These bills include:Click here to read more
- 13. Dr. Kelli Ward; "Spoiler" Alex Meluskey; and John McCain's Relentless Attacks on Kelli Ward
Recently, a supporter of Alex Meluskey stepped into an email that was sent from Gila County Republican Committee Chairman Gary Morris to the GCRC Precinct Committeemen announcing an upcoming PC meeting. This Alex Meluskey Supporter isn't one of our PC's. He took issue with an item that Chairman Morris had included in his email, which was a comment from Yavapai GOP Activist Jim Dutton which appeared in the 7/2/2016 MCRC News Briefs.
Mr. Dutton wrote: "Time to Take One for the Team - I wish to thank all of the Senatorial candidates for their willingness to run against John McCain. All of you have stressed the importance of retiring McCain for the good of Arizona and its citizens. It’s time now for each of you to evaluate the best course of action in order to accomplish the goal of removing McCain. You must put your egos aside and allow your patriotism and professed desire to serve your State and Country to be your guide. Everyone knows that multiple candidates in the primary race will only help John McCain. Therefore, we the people beseech Alex Meluskey, Scott McBean and Clair Van Steenwyck to take the high road and withdraw from this race today. The writing is on the wall guys and it’s time to face reality. Play the men for your people and unite behind the only candidate who has proven to be a challenger to John McCain – Kelli Ward. How do you want to be remembered? As a spoiler who helped get McCain elected or as a true patriot whose self-sacrifice and patriotism were clearly demonstrated for all of Arizona to see? Please, for all of Arizona! Take one for the Team."
The Supporter fired back at all the PC's as follows:
"WHY doesn't WARD DROP OUT and let somebody with a CONSERVATIVE VOTING RECORD run??WE THE PEOPLE HAVENT EVER AND WILL NOT VOTE FOR LIBERALS RUNNING ASD CONSERVATIVES.Check her voting record then Vote for Alex Meluskey for #AZSEN2016 #DUMPWARDINAZ."
Several of our PC's nicely, but firmly, responded to the Supporter, with comments favorable to Mr. Dutton's MCRC post.
Since I'm a GCRC PC, I'm publishing my response to the Meluskey Supporter, which follows:Click here to read more
- 14. Alex Meluskey: Clueless about the National Defense Authorization Act
In this May 23, 2016 video produced by Dan Haggerty, you will see Alex Meluskey, who is running against John McCain and Dr. Kelli Ward, claim that, by far, he is the strongest of all candidates in the areas of national defense and foreign policy. Yet, when asked if he supports the National Defense Authorization Act, he didn't even know what it is. The 2016 budget called for $604.2 billion in spending.Click here to read more

- 16. McCain-Assisting PAC Misleads Voters about Conservative Opponent Kelli Ward
by Patrick O'Malley and Anita Christy
The Arizona Grassroots Action PAC has been running a negative ad about Kelli Ward for weeks on radio stations and FaceBook. The ad claims she failed to support our military with the funding needed to pay the troops. It also claims she sponsored a bill to prevent law enforcement in Arizona from cooperating with the feds to prevent terrorism.
Both claims are false.
Every year, Congress passes a National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to fund the military. A serious criticism of the 2013 NDAA was that it continued to include a provision that allows the military to detain individuals, including US citizens, indefinitely and without trial, as part of the war on terror.
Kelli Ward was a State Senator and couldn’t vote on the NDAA, but she was asked about the bill and specifically about the indefinite detention of individuals issue on a talk radio show. The show is Love, Guns, and Freedom with Luca Zanna, and the discussion about the NDAA with Kelli Ward is part of the December 1, 2013 show. That’s where the quote “I don’t support the bill” comes from. It was in response to a direct question about the indefinite detention provision.
In 2014, many brave conservatives joined Ted Cruz in opposing this tyranny for the same reason given by Kelli Ward. See Ted Cruz: Indefinite Detention Retained in NDAA 2014.
The second issue concerns Arizona SB1156 in 2014. Dr. Ward was the prime sponsor, along with 13 co-sponsors. The Grassroots Action PAC claims the bill would restrict Arizona law enforcement from cooperating with the feds to fight terrorism. Do you remember back when we found out the NSA was monitoring our phone calls? That it wasn’t just suspected terrorists' international calls like we’d been told? It was everybody’s calls all the time? And people were wondering what had happened to their Fourth Amendment protections from search and seizure? SB1156 stated that the NSA and other federal agencies that wanted cooperation from local law enforcement in their investigations and wanted to collect information in Arizona had to get a warrant. No cooperation without a warrant.
The AZ Grassroots Action PAC was organized in 2014 supposedly to support or oppose multiple federal candidates and is classified as an independent expenditure committee.

- 17. John McCain rips Tea Party, Fox News, calls Hillary Clinton a 'rock star'
Remember this article from 2013?
When asked about Hillary Clinton, John McCain stated:
"I think she did a fine job," he said of Clinton's performance as Secretary of State despite the scandal surrounding the Benghazi terror attack.
"She’s a rock star. She has, maybe not glamour, but certainly the aura of someone widely regarded throughout the world. I do think it is interesting that the issues where John Kerry is engaging is where Hillary Clinton did not engage in, that those decisions were left to the White House and the National Security Council," he added.
What if Hillary ran against Rand Paul in 2016:
"It’s gonna be a tough choice," he said, laughing.
He clarified his remark, saying Paul "represents a segment of the GOP, just like his father. And I think he is trying to expand that, intelligently, to make it larger."
He called Rand Paul and Ted Cruz "wacko birds."
He said Obama has "grown" in office, especially since the president has reached out to him and Sen. Lindsey Graham, the South Carolina Republican who is often at McCain's side on issues like immigration. McCain praised Graham, saying he "is like a son to me."
Fox News is "schizophrenic."
About the TEA Party: "Many in this group didn’t come to power to get things done. They came to power to keep things from getting done," he said.
John McCain also stated: Kelly Ayotte, I am very close to. Chuck Schumer (Democrat). Carl Levin (Democrat) and I are as close as two people can be.

- 19. Dr. Ben Carson and President Thomas Jefferson call for unity
It is time to unite and elect Donald Trump. Former President of the Arizona Senate, Russell Pearce, recently called for unity. So did Dr. Ben Carson and President Thomas Jefferson.
On March 4, 1801, Thomas Jefferson delivered his First Inaugural Address. Within that Address, he wrote:
“Let us, then, fellow-citizens, unite with one heart and one mind. Let us restore to social intercourse that harmony and affection without which liberty and even life itself are but dreary things. And let us reflect that…we have yet gained little if we countenance a political intolerance as despotic and wicked. But every difference of opinion is not a difference of principle. We have called by different names brethren of the same principle. We are all Republicans, we are all Federalists.”
On May 12, 2016, Dr. Ben Carson wrote an article titled The Cost of Division: Truth and Consequences. Within that article, he wrote:
"As we approach the presidential election of 2016, conservatives need a strong dose of purpose and harmony. We have witnessed the politics of personal destruction at a level even more intense than occurred during the 2012 election cycle. After that failed attempt by conservatives to capture the White House, much post-election analytical activity concluded that the Republican candidates had once again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by crucifying one another, leaving President Obama with relatively little work to do to win despite his dismal record on the economy and international relationships."
Dr. Carson ends the article with this:
"It is time for us to think about our patriotic ancestors who sacrificed much, in many cases even their lives, to provide opportunities that we now enjoy. It is our turn to be responsible."
- 20. Donald Trump: One-Man-Wrecking Ball Suited for our Times
I didn't vote for Trump. But I agree with former Senate President Russell Pearce, Treasurer Jeff DeWit, conservative activist Sandi Bartlett, and a host of others that we must rally behind Trump as our next President. His detractors say he's flip-flopped on issues. He isn't a "true" conservative. He's uncouth, narcissistic, and unrefined. All of that may be true. They say he's racist. He's sexist. I don't believe that. But why is he so popular with the American people? This article addresses that question, and explores another one: Is it possible, as asked by Australian Pastor Steve Cioccolanti , that the Hand of God is on Donald Trump, "for such a time as this"? If so, it won't be the first time that God has used the most unlikely of men for His Purpose.
As to Donald Trump's popularity, Scott S. Powell believes that Trump possesses "qualities that are among those most vital to rebuilding relations with America’s allies and restoring respect -- even fear -- from adversaries. Mr. Trump’s directness also suggests he is the best-suited presidential candidate to take on America’s insolvency. He could be the president who corrects the nation’s out-of-control spending, deficits and unsustainable debt. Trump’s toughness may be the key virtue needed to rule in a divided country and to successfully downsize and restructure federal agencies and get Washington out of the way of the American economy and its people."
