Other special guests include candidate for Arizona Senate Tom Morrissey (LD18) and former Arizona Senate President Russell Pearce. Senator Pearce was the primary author of SB1070. Sheriff Joe Arpaio will be the Guest Speaker. He will be joined by special guest former Arizona Senator Russell Pearce. It is critical that Tom Morrissey win the Arizona Senate race against Jeff Dial in Legislative District 18. - 13. Riggs Campaign Responds to False Attacks
Cave Creek, Arizona – One of Frank Riggs' opponents in the Republican gubernatorial primary election has circulated an inflammatory and wildly inaccurate mailer to Republicans statewide. In it, he alleges that Riggs "cites a single vote while he was a Congressman from California two decades ago as his 'experience' in fighting illegal immigration." In fact, Riggs, an Army vet, ex-cop and three-term U.S. Congressman, has substantial experience fighting illegal immigration.
These are the facts:
1) Riggs has been on the front lines of law enforcement as a police officer and deputy sheriff. He's actually worn the badge, put his life on the line, enforced the law, and arrested illegal immigrants for committing crimes!
2) As a Congressman and Vice-Chairman of the California Republican Congressional Delegation, Riggs helped secure the funding to build the fence on California's border with Mexico which now extends into the Yuma Sector of Arizona's border with Mexico. Riggs has promised to work with the Arizona congressional delegation to get the funding to secure the Tucson Sector of the border.
3) Riggs introduced and forced a vote on legislation patterned after California's Proposition 187 to prohibit federal taxpayer benefits for illegal immigrants. That was in 1998!
4) According to Numbers USA, the nation's largest organization, with two million members, advocating immigration reduction and opposing amnesty, Riggs received a grade of "A" for his congressional voting record. The organization "scored" 11 key votes during Riggs' three terms in Congress and ranked Riggs on those votes, not on a single vote as his opponent alleged. Riggs' votes were on congressional legislation to reduce chain migration; reduce refugee and asylum fraud; reduce amnesty entitlements; reduce anchor baby citizenship; reduce illegal immigration rewards; and reduce illegal immigration at borders. Here's the proof.
The same opponent also claimed in his mailer that Riggs "condemned SB 1070," yet this statement has been on Riggs' website for months: "I strongly support the provisions of SB 1070 that would allow a local law enforcement officer to detain and arrest an individual when they have probable cause to believe that person is an illegal alien violating our country’s immigration laws. – See more at: On the Issues - Frank Riggs. Riggs also has the endorsement and support of former State Senator and State Senate President Russell Pearce, the principal author of SB 1070!Click here to read more
- 14. It's Time to Impeach Attorney General Eric Holder
You may ask: Why not impeach Obama? Republican threats to impeach Obama are guaranteed to generate two things: 1) Democratic outrage; and 2) Democratic Cash.
- 15. Sen. Cruz: "This is a Crisis of the President's Own Making"
“Amnesty is unfolding before our very eyes,” Sen. Cruz said. “And I would suggest the only response that will stop this humanitarian disaster is for President Obama to start enforcing the law, to stop promising amnesty, to stop refusing to enforce federal immigration law and finally to secure the borders. Indeed, I would call upon our colleagues in this body in both parties to come together and secure the border once and for all and to stop holding border security hostage for amnesty.”Click here to read more
- 16. Why Conservatives Support Frank Riggs for Arizona's Next Governor
When all else fails, please, study the candidate's record. The best indicator of future performance is past performance. Promises are meaningless without a record of performance that backs them up.
Frank Riggs has a very long principled conservative record, both in and out of office. He has stood firmly even when his stand was unpopular, because he had considered all the facts. His previous experience in the U.S. Congress has armed him with many facts that others don't have. Having served in Congress, he knows how to get things done at the federal level.
Frank Riggs's grasp of multiple, complex issues is impressive. Whether it's Common Core (Arizona's College and Career Ready Standards), Parental Rights/Educational Choice, Medicaid Expansion, Border Security, Private Property Rights, the Budget, the Right to Bear Arms, the EPA's threat to Arizona's economy, Arizona's Sovereignty, Water, Forests/Forest Products, Rural Issues, the Muslim Brotherhood, etc., Frank Riggs demonstrates indepth knowledge and leadership.
He is blessed with a high intellect and is his own man. He bristles at the idea of having any "handlers," which he neither wants or needs. He also stands up graciously under pressure and won't be intimidated.
There are few elected officials who have this capability. Former Senate President Russell Pearce, who recently endorsed Frank Riggs for Governor, is one of those people. You might remember him as the author of SB1070, which, among other citizen protections, gave Arizona's local law enforcement officers the authority to detain and arrest an individual when the officer has probable cause to believe that person has violated federal immigration law.
You might not know that Senator Pearce fought hard and successfully on behalf of parental rights and school choice. You also might not know that, like Frank Rigss, Russell Pearce served honorably in law enforcement. Click HERE to learn more about Russell Pearce's incredible record.Click here to read more
- 17. Gohmert: U.S. Could Become Third World Nation
"They aren't escaping violence. They're coming here for the schools, jobs, medical care. This is taxpayer-paid human trafficking. We don't know the extent of the diseases they are bringing. The feds did not reveal that they knew these illegals have H1N1 (Swine flu), which is life threatening. They are put on planes, yet have no identification. Some are coming from countries where we know there is Islamic terrorism. Unless someone spots a tattoo, the MS-13 gang members are coming in as children. This huge influx is hurting our own minorities who are having trouble finding jobs." Louie Gohmert, U.S. Congressman (Texas)Click here to read more
- 18. Democrats are Destroying America: Undocumented Alien Children
January 29, 2014: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) a component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website a Request for Escort Services for approximately 65,000 Unaccompanied Alien Children the federal government expected would be coming into the United States.
This is one of many ways that Obama has thrown open our borders and disregarded our Rule of Law. This is what Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and all Democrats at every level of government want. This particular so-called humanitarian crisis was a predictable, orchestrated, and contrived assault on the compassionate side of Americans. These cynical Democrats knowingly put minor Illegal Alien youth at risk for purely political purposes. They also think nothing of putting the health, safety, and welfare of American citizens at risk, as these aliens are bringing all kinds of diseases with them.
Click HERE for the link to the federal government-sponsored request for Escort Services.
Click HERE for the wording of the entire request for Escort Services.
Here is an excerpt:
"There will be approximately 65,000 UAC (Unaccompanied Lien Children) in total: 25% local ground transport, 25% via ICE charter and 50% via commercial air. Escort services include, but are not limited to, assisting with: transferring physical custody of UAC from DHS to Health and Human Services (HHS) care via ground or air methods of transportation (charter or commercial carrier), property inventory, providing juveniles with meals, drafting reports, generating transport documents, maintaining/stocking daily supplies, providing and issuing clothing as needed, coordinating with DHS and HHS staff, travel coordination, limited stationary guard services to accommodate for trip disruptions due to inclement weather, faulty equipment, or other exigent circumstances."
As of this writing, ICE has been told to remove the term "alien" from the way they describe Illegal Immigrant Children. They are now to be called "Unaccompanied Children."
The Democrat's message to all Republicans? Pay your taxes. Remain silent.
We have overwhelmed you and your so-called Republic. We have taken over your children's education. We are passing out free food to your children. We have taken over the Press. We have taken over your universities. We have taken over your media. We have infiltrated and debased your religious institutions. We have instituted a multitude of new administrative laws and sent swarms of federal agents to enforce them.
Our message to the Democrats? See you at the polls in November 2014!
Oh, and then there's this:
- 19. Murrieta's Cliven Bundy Moment
Sometimes, we have to depend on Canada to read about what's happening behind the scenes in America. So it is with this story published by Canada Free Press about why the folks in Murrieta, California, stopped three busloads of illegal alien women and children and turned them around. This small community, that grew up fast but fights to remain "small town," could be Gilbert, Arizona.
As you read this, you'll discover that our federal government had been using Escondido and then Murrieta as a dumping location for illegals, in the dead of night, for months. Escondido's residents had fought against this outrage, but we didn't hear about it. So, the feds pushed on up the road, to Murrieta.Click here to read more
- 20. Citizens of Murrieta Turn Back Buses Filled with Illegal Alien Women and Children
The Obama Administration created this crisis, and then dumped it into the laps of legal American men, women, and children. The citizens of Murrieta, California have had enough! The solution is simple: Enforce our laws. Secure our border. On July 1, these citizens turned back 3 busloads of UAC's (Unaccompanied Alien Children).
I've got no sympathy for Democrats who are whining about this now. Last month, the Democrats were threatening the Republicans with Obama's executive power to stop deportations.
"We're deporting too many people; we're breaking up families; and he ought to do whatever's in his executive power to change what is a bad policy," Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said Thursday. "It's the right thing to do."
This sentiment has been repeatedly expressed by Democrat Filemon Vela (TX); Democrat Ruben Hinojosa (TX); Democrat Luis Gutierrez (IL); Democrat; Nancy Pelosi; Democrat Harry Reid; Democrat Charles Schumer (NY); Democrat Dick Durbin (IL); Democrat Steny Hoyer (MD).... etc.
